Julie Everett, PT, DPT, CLT

Physical Therapy is a type of treatment you may need when you have medical or health conditions that limit your ability to move and perform functional activities in your daily life.  Physical therapy can help improve your mobility, decrease pain, restore physical function and improve your fitness level.

ptCommon Conditions Treated:

  • Neck and back pain
  • Hip pain
  • Poor Posture
  • Tendonitis
  • Shoulder dysfunction
  • Sports Injuries
  • Post-surgical recovery
  • Myofascial Pain Syndrome

Specialty Conditions:

  • Pelvic Pain
  • Pain with intercourse
  • Urinary Incontinence (stress, urge, or mixed)
  • Chronic Constipation
  • Lymphedema
  • Cancer rehabilitation
  • Pregnancy and postpartum pain

A physical therapist (PT) will examine each individual and develop a specific plan using treatment techniques to promote healing and restore mobility.  PTs will use such modalities as manual therapy, functional exercises, patient education and posture training to return someone to an active lifestyle.  They also can proactively identify movements/dysfunction that may place an individual at increased risk of injury and help train to avoid that from happening.
