Massage, Process Acupressure (SEVA)

Carol began her practice on the path to wholeness and well-being in 1998. Her early work in massage led her to a much deeper understanding of the interrelatedness of body, mind, and spirit. When she touched the person through massage, she came to understand that the whole person was present, the emotions, thoughts and essential self or spirit. Further studies led her to the discovery that that wellness, growth, and healing were facilitated by working with any one aspect, body, mind or spirit,  but were deepened by the exploration of the three aspects together. Carol believes that our body reflects our daily living, our history, all we have been, and all potential for the future. It is a path we walk to wellness and wholeness Through bodywork and self exploration exercises, we can become more self-aware, and live more fully alive.…

Through her passion to understand and serve wellness, Carol  has continued her education in transpersonal psychology, holistic wellness, eastern traditions, medical massage, and other bodywork modalities such as craniosacral therapy, zero balancing, and myofascial release. In 2003, she began offering a modality called Process Acupressure in which gentle finger pressure is applied to points on the body to facilitate ease and balance. She now teaches classes in SEVA, a process acupressure protocol.

Carol enjoys meeting clients “where they are” and planning sessions that will utilize whichever modality best meets the unique needs of the person. Using these gentle, holistic modalities, invites the release of pain, tension and other stressors; and offers opportunities for self discovery, balance and inner peace; essentially bringing wholeness to body, mind, and spirit.

It is her pleasure to walk with you on your path to wholeness, self discovery, well-being and balance.
